11th Annual Pre-Game Officials Camp
June 29-July 1, 2012
Southwestern University
Georgetown, Texas
For the 11th consecutive year, the Pre-Game Officials Basketball Camp, will strive to
teach the basic fundamentals of 3-person mechanics at the high school and collegiate
level. The camp also has proven over the years to help officials fine-tune their game
during the off-season. Other camp objectives include developing good game
management techniques and the importance of a proper pre-game plus off-court
professionalism.
Camp directors are Scott Yarbrough, Peter Contreras and Ernie Solis. The camp will
include floor work, classroom discussions, staff evaluation and observation.
The headquarter hotel is the Candlewood Suites in Georgetown. Please call (512)
591-7888. The rate is $78 for a Queen and $84 for a Double. Ask for the Pre-Game
Officials Camp rate. Deadline for this rate is June 23th or until block of rooms are sold
out.
CAMP APPLICATION
Camp fee is $225 ($200 if returning official). A non-refundable deposit of $125 must
accompany application. Included in the cost of the camp is lunch on Saturday and a
shirt. Make check payable to Pre-Game Officials Camp. The balance is due upon
registration the day of the camp. Return check and application to: Pre-Game Officials
